Panther Watercar

Helaas, Ron.

Hi,

Cyano Acrilate (CA), also known as Superglue. Or 'UHU Endfest' for where I need more time, or an extra strong bond is required. That is a 2 component glue with resin and a powder activator. I allways sand the polystyrol with grain 120 before glueing, whatever glue is used.

Grt, Lex.

No, I mean UHU Plus Arcylit.

I wrote the 'Endfest' by mistake, another glue I have used in the past. Gues I am sniffing to much of it allso ..

Thank you for this precision, I thought of the Henkel "Express stabilit". I did not know "Uhu Acrylit Express"

I would even consider UHU POR (kind of tacky glue) a good alternative. Both my RC car and mini-hydro (competition boat) are glued with UHU POR only and still last.

Just FYI: my experience with the Henkel product is better: The UHU acrilit is in itself a good glue (absolutely comparable to the Henkel Stabilit), but the dosing "system" is less accurate than what Henkel uses.
My experience with Henkel is that when using the mixing cups properly you always get a good result, while with the UHU, results are less constant because the measuring of the resin is less accurate.
I had several times that the compound did not cure properly.

Just my 2 cents

Thank you for your comments, these I agree because UHU Acrilit resin is not common in France and very expensive (price + schipping)
