This is just a heads up for anyone thinking of buying anything from
MHM modellbau in Germany. DONT!
Here is a summary of the problems i have had with them:
1) Ordered a Quick Japan EP-8 from them. They sent me a used kit and not a
new one. It had been already assembled and had obviously had electronics
installed in it at one point which leads me to believe that it was almost
certainly flown as well. Furthermore the order took almost 2 weeks to get to
me and emails to them in the meantime asking if there was a tracking number
for the shipment were simply ignored.
2) Complained about the above issues to them via email and never got a response. Called
them and no-one spoke english. The person who did speak english was not there
and never returned my calls.
3) Against my better judgement i decided to give them a second chance because they had
some rare sized blades in stock which i wanted to try out on my EP-8. I placed a small
second order and paid via paypal. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything or receiving anything
i had sent several emails asking if anything had been shipped and was AGAIN ignored. Finally
after 3 weeks i decided that i was not going to let this go on any longer and started a dispute
at paypal for the money i had sent them. Paypal decided in my favor and rewarded me the money back.
Finally at this point they contact me telling me that i am not allowed to do this according to german
general conditions and that it is not their fault if the package never gets to me. They also told me
that if i posted anything about them on the forums that they would contact the police to prosecute me
for slander (im very frightened about this...NOT!). Then they appealed the paypal decision to award me
back my money and are not even acting the slightest bit guilty or sorry that i have paid for merchandise
I have never received.
Now keep in mind my first order with them was for more than 500 euros! My second one was much smaller
(around 100 euros). You would think they would want to make a new customer who is spending that much money
with them happy.
This is absolutely THE WORST online hobby shop i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. There are more
details which make this experience even more distasteful but i wont bore you with them. Suffice it to say i will
never be dealing with them again. The mailing confirmation codes and tracking order numbers they have given me
are unknown to both the dutch postal service and the german carrier they say they used to mail my parcel. It is
almost as if they just made them up. At this point nothing would surprise me.

If paypal did something against the german law then they should never have agreed to use paypal
